As far as I was concerned, there was a huge difference between getting out of high school and getting out of college. I couldn't wait to get out of high school, I hated it. College, on the other hand, I enjoyed immensely. Sure, the studying was much harder than high school, but the overall college experience made it worthwhile. The overall high school experience was a joke in comparison.

I do remember the teacher's strike in Littleton. The scab teachers didn't even try to teach class, we basically sat there for an hour and did nothing. My regular Spanish teacher did cross the picket line, then spent the entire class bitching about how she was treated by the strikers. In the back of the class I was saying under my breath, "That's what you get for being a scab!" Eventually, we just quit going to class, or they were cancelled, until school was called off.

Should one contemplate marriage while listening to your first podcast?

Sure! It's kinda like a public service announcement on the issue.
